Growing support after a family fun day

On Tuesday 22nd Feb, we had an amazing event in the park in collaboration with Trees for Cities. Face-painted and with woodlands wands at the ready, kids had fun planting bulbs and learning about stag beetles.

Thanks to the help of our Community Officer Toni Davey, our wonderful volunteers and St Mary & St Michael’s PTA mums, our Fun-day was a great success. Even Mayor Lutfur Rahman took part and watched the fantastic performance given by Soyyten Sen Dance Group.

If you missed our event do not despair, we have another one coming up soon. On 11th March meet us at James Wallace Wines for a glass of wine or soft drink and learn about our campaign. Tickets are £5 and will be available for purchase from Tuesday at James Wallace Wines.

Also, do not forget our public meeting on 2nd March at Glamis Hall (Corner of Cable Street and Glamis Road). Even John Biggs will do its best to attend. If you have any questions about the alternative sites or any other issues please come along and we will do our best to answer your queries.
